About

Stone is the easy part

Our origins — Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and India — have world-class quarries and no shortage of people willing to sell you what comes out of them. What is scarce is a supplier who takes responsibility for what happens between the quarry face and your yard.

Who we are

Global Trade

Global Trade exports marble and granite from Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and India. We buy at the quarry, manage processing and packing, and ship to fabricators, contractors and distributors internationally.

The company sits inside a wider group with a long working history in the stone trade and in international commerce. That matters in practice rather than in principle: it means established quarry relationships, existing freight arrangements, and people who have handled the failure modes before rather than discovering them on your order.

We are deliberately not the cheapest quotation you will receive. The margin goes into selection, inspection and packing — the three places where saving money at the front end reliably costs more at the back end.

How we work

Three commitments

Show, don't describe

Photographs of the actual blocks, the actual bundles and the actual loaded container. Descriptions of stone are worth very little; images of the specific lot are worth a great deal.

Report problems early

If a block cracks in sawing or a finish comes out inconsistent, you hear it from us while there is still time to react — not on discharge when the options have run out.

One point of contact

The same person handles your order from quotation to arrival. No handover between departments, and no repeating the specification to somebody new.

Who we supply

Trade buyers

We sell to businesses that resell, fabricate or install — not to end consumers. If you are specifying stone for a single private project, a local fabricator will serve you better than a container from abroad.

Fabricators
Slab and block supply for cutting, finishing and installation.
Distributors
Stock volumes in consistent lots, repeatable across shipments.
Contractors
Project quantities cut to drawings and packed by phase or floor.
Architects
Samples and material advice at specification stage, before tender.

Let's talk specifics.
